And I love the story about the women meeting under the clock too. <br /><br />My surprise favourite cookbook this year was Forgotten Skills of Cooking by Darina Allen. I never would have expected to use it and love it as much as I do. I also bought Country Cooking of Ireland, which is a beautiful book and great resource.
